No, ensi kerralla sitten. Tämä olikin pääkaupunkiseudun viimeinen rankingsarjassa oleva kilpailu. Ensi kaudeksi toivoisin että saisimme tietoa kilpailuista vähän aikaisemmin jotta porukka voi suunnitella ja varata viikonlopun aikaisemmin. Ja muutenkin pitää varmaan parantaa näkyvyyttä jotta saamme enemmän veneitä radalle.

For this specific race, we had 4,5 boats willing which then reduced to 2,5. For the Helsinki area, we had like 4 events planned for this season, out of which only 1 happened and we had to arrange a ghost boat for it to happen. It would be nice to understand why people don't come to these regattas - is it bad timing, lack of crew, or not enough competition spirit? During the spring, there was an expectation that we could have up to 8 FEs racing and yet we had the same number as during previous years if not less. There were boats willing to race - where are they? What do we need to do to pull them in? Newcomers' race with more experienced people helping maybe?..

I guess the reasons for not participating races are a mix of things like kids, broken mast, rebuild of electrical system & insecure engine function, other personal reasons etc. But I agree, we definitely need to sit down and see what we can do to improve participation as there are boats enough.

Yes, it's what I am talking about - there could be many reasons and we don't know what they are. My point is that if we could ask people who changed their minds what were the reasons, it could have helped the club to make better planning next year.
