Re: Black FE83?

Doesn't look bad at all. I wonder for how long the dark paint will still look good. Please keep us updated. :)

Re: door

I have mine made out of polycarbonate. Acrylic is also a possibility. Polycarbonate is stronger, acrylic is more scratch-resistant and has better resistance to UV. ETRA Megacenter (there are many, find the nearest one) has both acrylic and polycarbonate; they can also cut simple shapes to your dimen...

Re: Rankinglaskenta 2020

I trust that the boat name should never be the primary key. :-D

Re: Köysisuosituksia?

I have the feeling that it gets easier stuck than the knot. The splice makes the sheet thicker, and the splice is like a wedge that gets almost always stuck in the boom end. Of course this depends on the pole end and sheet diameter. Anyway, I'm planning to remove the splices and wichard shackles. I...

Re: Rankinglaskenta 2020

But now Pikku Myy seems to be listed twice there. Sorry for bugging you.

I think they are:
Disks: Shackle guard
Balls: Ball stopper
You're precisely correct. :-)

Re: Rankinglaskenta 2020

Thank you. Pikku Myy is still missing the same race results.

I did send the results for all Subbota's races by e-mail to tulokset@fe83.org on 12.10. And I also resent the KoPu DH e-mail on 1.12. Haven't they come through?..

Re: Rankinglaskenta 2020

The ranking seems to be missing data from KoPu DH 6.9.2020.

Why splice? Either make 8-knot or pole knot, difficult to make the spinnaker-connection lighter.
Unlike the knot, the spliced eye never gets stuck in the spinnaker pole end.

Re: Köysisuosituksia?

Spinnuskuuteiksi ainoa oikea on tietenkin roblinen dyneemaytiminen päästä ohennettu: https://maritimshops.fi/fi/tuote/91583175/9518119521/h-vene-spinnaker-skuutti/45608762/1 Not only that one is expensive, but also it is difficult to splice on the thin end. I would take a braided 8 mm Dyneema and t...
